CONNATURALP è un progetto innovativo che mira a promuovere un approccio integrato alla tutela e alla valorizzazione della salute degli ecosistemi e degli esseri umani, con l’obiettivo di sviluppare strategie utili alla protezione di entrambi.
Attraverso l’approccio One Health e una partnership multidisciplinare, CONNATURALP intende migliorare la comprensione delle relazioni tra la salute degli ecosistemi, la biodiversità e la salute umana, attraverso l’utilizzo delle terapie basate sulla natura (Nature-based Therapies – NbTs).
Il progetto si propone di:
i) identificare parametri specifici per misurare lo stato di salute degli ecosistemi e l’impronta ecologica che le NbTs hanno sulla biodiversità;
ii) sviluppare e implementare protocolli clinici per valutare gli effetti delle NbTs su gruppi target vulnerabili;
iii) creare un protocollo comune per l’attuazione delle NbTs;
iv) analizzare i comportamenti pro-ambientali dei pazienti e dei cittadini che frequentano parchi e riserve della biosfera.
Attraverso attività di informazione rivolte al territorio, verranno fornite raccomandazioni sulle politiche per il miglioramento della biodiversità e della salute umana.

CONNATURALP is an innovative project that aims to promote an integrated approach to protecting and promoting the health of ecosystems and humans, in order to develop strategies that can contribute to the protection of both. Through the One Health approach and a multidisciplinary partnership, Connaturalp intends to improve understanding of the relationships between ecosystem and biodiversity health and human health, through the use of Nature-based therapies (NbTs). The project therefore aims to:
i) identify specific parameters to measure the health status of ecosystems and the ecological footprint that NbTs have on biodiversity;
ii) Develop and implement clinical protocols to evaluate the effects that NbTs have on vulnerable target groups;
iii) Create a common protocol for the implementation of NbTs;
iv) Investigate the proenvironmental behaviors of patients involved and citizens who frequent parks and biosphere reserves.
Through communication and information activities for the territory, recommendations will be made on policies for improving biodiversity and, at the same time, human health.
